Dear Stitching Friends,

Just arrived home from our "Bermuda" Retreat and our weekend "Back-porch Stitching" at Claire's home. What a great time we had stitching by the lake at Claire's and the ocean at Shina's and Kathy's home! It really is a shame that I call it "work". A huge "thank you" for the wonderful hospitality. Susan outdid herself at her "Vintage Hanky Lecture" at the National Trust Home at Vermont in Bermuda. It was standing room only!

Susan and I have been really planning some new events, new venue's, and new projects to tantalize you. I can only say that the new projects are soooooo unusual and fantastic! Be sure to sign up early for events, as most are sold out.

We're over 2/3 full for our ENGLAND adventure in 2009. Lots of needlework, exclusive projects, tea with Jane Greenoff, plus: London, Bath, Stratford, Cotswold, Stonehenge, and sooooo much more. Lots of free time to explore London on your own. You know Susan and I do trips with you in mind!

The "Online Needlework Show" is up and running. Click on: www.needleworkshow.com and go to "Viewing General" then just click down to "Cross Stitch and More" to see all the items Susan and I are selling plus pictures of past retreats. I love the "Pirate" picture from our "Southern Stitching" retreat. It's our longest running event (9th one) that we co-host with Pat Embree of The Stitchin' Post in Nashville.

Dates for viewing this show are ONLY April 16th thru April 22nd so let Susan or I know what you think.

We have a few spaces left for our Treasure Island Retreat in Florida and Shipshewanna in Indiana.

Thanks again for your kind support! Hugs and...Thanks for thinking of me...Sally

NEW ITEMS:

I've just finished my booth at our Trenton location. The adjoining shop next to the cross stitch shop, stained glass and framing shop has be refurbished to hold 8 booths full of antiques and goodies. My booth has lots of vintage sewing tools, vintage buttons, scissors, furniture, cross-stitch models (you know I had over 1200 models at the shop, so I've decided to part with a few), hand made goodies, and lots of retired Longaberger baskets. It's definitely worth the trip and only 27 miles from Gainesville. Come join me for lunch in our fabulous tea room.

My new knitted "Alligator Scarf" is really cute! He's long to wrap around your neck and is really "scaly". Kit comes in either orange and blue or green. ($30.00)

Crazy quilted pincushions ($20.00) are all different. Made out of needlework related fabrics with lace, buttons, yo-yo's, embroidery, etc. All are different and make a lovely gift for you or a stitching friend.

Newest charms for your stitching necklace: "Double Herringbone Stitch", "Russian Chain Stitch", and "Ermine Stitch". All are $13.00 and come with a secure double split jump ring in sterling. If you'd like to see my necklace, go to my website and look under monthly clubs. You can choose any theme for your necklace: needlework related, hearts, baskets, nature, etc. and we'll send you one each month!

Newest Crochet Items: "Balger Holder" ($12.50), "3" Mother-of-Perle Ruler Holder" ($15.00), "Thread Heaven Holder" ($20.00), "Thimble Case" ($20.00). These may be ordered as matching sets or in an assortment of colors.

"Vintage Hanky" baby bonnets with poem about making it into a bride's hanky and then back to a bonnet. ($25.00) All are different and poem is included.

"VINTAGE MAGAZINES":

Only 1 of each one. $25.00 each plus $3.50 shipping and handling.
